The Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST) is situated in the beautiful city of Mohali, adjacent to Chandigarh, India. The institute was built as an initiative of Nano Mission by DST to boost research and development in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in India. The institute has a sprawling 35 acres campus equipped with state-of-the-art research facilities. INST brings together biologists, chemists, physicists, material scientists, and engineers under a common platform with the aim to generate processes, technologies, and devices directed toward national priorities, especially in sectors like Agriculture, defense, healthcare, energy, and environment.
